The Town of Elon began development of Phase II and III of the Haggard Avenue Corridor Study in July 2021. The purpose of the study is to examine and recommend safety and multi-modal improvements along East Haggard Avenue between NC 100 University Drive and NC 87. The Phase I portion of the study, which extends from Antioch Avenue to York Road, was recently adopted by the Town of Elon and presented for information at the May 18, 2021 TCC and TAC meetings. Phase II of the project extends from University Drive to Antioch Avenue and Phase III extends from York Road to NC 87.
