Bicycle and pedestrian safety is an important focus of the Burlington-Graham MPO. BGMPO staff recently partnered with Mebane on the Move and Graham Recreation and Parks Department to help distribute bicycle helmets to children in the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club at the Graham Recreation Center. The helmets were provided through the Bicycle Helmet Initiative funded by the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
