The Transportation Safety Plan (TSP) is being developed by VHB, Inc. and is aligned with the BGMPO 2045 MTP, federal national and emphasis planning factors, NCDOT’s Moves 2050 Long Range Plan, the NCDOT’s Highway Safety Plan and NCDOT’s Vision Zero goal to “reduce fatalities and serious injuries by half by 2035 moving towards zero by 2050”. The BGMPO in collaboration with VHB Consultants and NCDOT will host it's third and final Transportation Safety Plan public meeting on September 14, 2022, 6:00-7:30pm virtually via Zoom.
