Alamance and Orange County residents are invited to provide feedback on proposed multimodal improvements to the US 70 West Corridor.
Mebane/Efland/Hillsborough, North Carolina, November-December 2023 – Residents, commuters, and other users of the US 70 West corridor are encouraged to participate in one of three upcoming community meetings designed to introduce improvement recommendations and gather feedback and valuable first-hand perspectives from those who live, work, or frequently use this corridor.
A series of three meetings is scheduled at different locations, and we encourage you to attend the one most convenient to your schedule. A brief presentation will begin at both 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
- Meeting #1 will be held on Sunday, November 19 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at Mebane City Hall, 106 East Washington Street, Mebane, NC 27302.
- Meeting #2 will be held on Saturday, December 2 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the Hillsborough Town Hall, 105 East Corbin Street, Hillsborough, NC 27278.
- Meeting #3 will be held on Saturday, December 9 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at 300 W. Tryon Street Hillsborough, NC 27278.
Note that these meetings are being held on weekend days; light refreshments and a play zone for kids will be available.
