This is to notify the public that the Burlington – Graham Metropolitan Planning Organization (BGMPO) Draft Transportation Safety Plan is available for public comment. The Draft Transportation Safety Plan is available by appointment for public review from September 19 – October 17, 2022 at the BGMPO office located at 234 E. Summit Avenue, Burlington NC and posted on the BGMPO Transportation Plan Project website www.bgmpotransportationsafetyplan.com. A link to the study can be found here. The Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) will consider approval of the Draft Transportation Safety Plan during a public hearing scheduled during the October 18, 2022, 5:30 p.m., BGMPO TAC meeting. The meeting is scheduled to be held in the City of Burlington, 1st floor Municipal Conference Room, Burlington, North Carolina 27215. The meeting agenda will be posted to the BGMPO website www.bgmpo.org one week in advance of the TAC meeting and available upon request to wmallette@burlingtonnc.gov.
