The Burlington – Graham Metropolitan Planning Organization (BGMPO) is developing a Transportation Safety Plan to identify transportation safety improvements in the region with the goal to reduce crash fatalities and serious injury rates. The BGMPO will host its third and final public engagement meeting on September 14, 2022, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., in virtual format via Teams. The meeting will be in a virtual format. The purpose of the meeting is to review draft recommendations and solicit public feedback. The Transportation Safety Plan is the first step in working toward an ambitious long-term goal of reaching zero roadway fatalities by the year 2050.
